Gas furnaces at wholesale prices
Replace just the heating side of your system with a new gas furnace. We carry more than 70 furnaces from Goodman, Rheem, Bosch and Bryant, from 40,000 to 125,000 BTU and 80% to 98% AFUE.
Choosing a furnace
- Size (BTU): depends on your climate, square footage and insulation. Use our furnace sizing calculator and have your contractor confirm with a load calculation.
- Efficiency (AFUE): 80% AFUE furnaces use a standard metal flue and cost less up front. 92% to 98% AFUE condensing furnaces vent through PVC, need a condensate drain and cut gas bills, especially in colder climates.
- Airflow direction: upflow for basements and closets, horizontal for attics and crawlspaces, downflow for floor duct systems. Many models are multi-position; check the product page.
- Cabinet width: common widths are 14", 17.5", 21" and 24.5". Match your space and the indoor coil above the furnace.
Comfort options
Single-stage
Runs at full output whenever it's on.
Two-stage
Runs at a lower setting most of the time for quieter, more even heat.
Modulating / variable-speed
Adjusts output and airflow in small steps for the steadiest temperatures.
Propane: for homes without natural gas, many furnaces can run on propane with a manufacturer conversion kit. Check the product page for the matching kit, and have your installer do the conversion.
Shipping, returns and warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply when a licensed HVAC contractor installs the equipment.
Frequently asked questions
Can I replace my furnace without replacing my AC?
Yes, if your AC coil fits the new furnace cabinet. If the AC is also aging, a Gas Furnace + AC System is usually the better value.
Can I switch from an 80% to a 96% furnace?
Yes. Your installer will add PVC venting and a condensate drain, so budget for that work.
