Size, efficiency and refrigerant
- Size: start with our AC sizing calculator, then have your contractor confirm the tonnage with a load calculation.
- Efficiency: higher SEER2 costs more up front and less to run. Southern states require a higher minimum SEER2 than northern ones.
- Refrigerant: most new equipment uses R-32 or R-454B, the lower-GWP refrigerants required in systems made since 2025. We also carry R-410A systems, which can still be installed in most states under the EPA's May 2026 rule (New York restricts them).
Shipping, returns and warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply when a licensed HVAC contractor installs the equipment.
