AC condenser and coil sets
If your gas furnace still has years left but your air conditioner doesn't, a condenser and evaporator coil set replaces just the cooling side. You get the outdoor AC condenser and a matched cased coil that installs on top of (or beside) your existing furnace. We carry more than 80 matched sets from Goodman, Rheem, Frigidaire and GrandAire, from 1.5 to 5 tons.
Why replace the coil too
The outdoor unit and indoor coil are designed and rated as a pair. Replacing both keeps the system at its rated SEER2 and covered by the manufacturer warranty. It's also required when switching refrigerant: nearly every set here uses R-32 or R-454B, which can't run through an older R-410A coil.
Choosing the right set
- Tonnage: match your home's cooling load. Use our AC sizing calculator and have your contractor confirm.
- Coil width: the cased coil should match your furnace cabinet width. Coils come in widths such as 14", 17.5", 21" and 24.5", listed on each product page.
- Airflow direction: some coils are multi-position, while others fit a single airflow direction. Match the coil to your furnace (upflow, downflow or horizontal).
- Efficiency: sets run from 14 to 17 SEER2, including two-stage models for steadier comfort.

Will the coil fit my furnace?
Match the coil width to your furnace cabinet. If you're unsure, call us with your furnace model number.
