Ductless mini split systems
A ductless mini split heats and cools a room or area without ductwork. A compact outdoor unit connects to an indoor unit through a small hole in the wall, so it's a clean fit for additions, garages, bonus rooms and older homes without ducts. We carry complete heat pump mini split systems from Mitsubishi, Daikin, Bosch and Haier, from 6,000 to 24,000 BTU, plus larger 2.5 to 3.5 ton Mitsubishi systems.

What to compare
- Size (BTU): match the BTU to the room, not the whole house. Use our mini split BTU calculator.
- Efficiency: inverter-driven compressors adjust output to the room. Ratings here run from 16 SEER2 to over 30 on top-efficiency models.
- Cold-weather heating: some models are rated for low outdoor temperatures. Check the heating range on the product page if you live somewhere with cold winters.
- Indoor unit style: most are wall-mounted, with a few ceiling cassette options.
- Refrigerant: most systems use R-454B or R-32, with some R-410A models.
