The Rheem RP14AY is a split-system heat pump outdoor unit for heating and cooling. Most sizes use a two-stage scroll compressor that runs high or low for tighter temperature control, better humidity removal, and higher efficiency than a single-stage unit. It is factory-charged with R-454B, an A2L refrigerant with about 78% lower global warming potential than R-410A. Sound as low as 72 dB. This is an outdoor unit only. It needs a matched R-454B indoor coil or air handler, a line set, and a 24V thermostat. It is not EcoNet communicating.
