The Carrier 349336-761 is a genuine OEM draft inducer motor assembly that restores proper venting and safe combustion on compatible Carrier, Bryant, and Payne gas furnaces. It pulls flue gases through the heat exchanger and exhausts them so the furnace can light reliably, maintain correct pressure, and avoid lockouts from a failed or noisy inducer.
This complete kit includes the motor, housing, and fan wheel plus gasket, mounting screws, wiring adapter, and instructions. The current design is a two-speed motor that uses the included adapter for single-stage / single-speed furnaces, so it drops in as a direct replacement for older assemblies such as 347822-761, 326628-761, 326628-701, 326628-711, HC21ZE125, and HC21ZS125. Ball-bearing construction, Class F insulation, and a precision-balanced wheel support quiet, durable operation at 3000 RPM while the low 0.21 A draw keeps electrical load modest. Replacing a seized, noisy, or failed inducer with this OEM kit helps prevent pressure-switch trips, incomplete combustion, and carbon monoxide risk from a poor seal—use the new gasket (or high-temp silicone if needed) when you install it.
