The Goodman CAPTA3022A3 is a high-efficiency, all-aluminum cased A-coil evaporator designed for residential split-system air conditioners and heat pumps using R-32 refrigerant. It delivers reliable cooling performance (nominal 30,000 BTU / 2.5 tons) in a compact 14-inch cabinet that fits standard furnace or air-handler openings. Factory-installed TXV ensures precise refrigerant metering for both cooling-only and heat-pump applications, while the durable AlumaFin7™ coil construction maximizes heat transfer and longevity.
