TRANE 80V Silicon-Nitride Hot Surface Ignitor with Bracket IGN00145

The Trane IGN00145 is a genuine OEM hot surface ignitor (HSI) kit that lights the gas burner in compatible Trane and American Standard furnaces. It uses a silicon-nitride heating element that reaches ignition temperature quickly and holds up better than older silicon-carbide designs in high-heat, cycling furnace environments.

The included mounting bracket and screws let you install it in the same position and depth as the original part, so flame path and ignition timing stay correct. At 80 volts (not 120V), it matches the control boards used on the furnaces it was designed for—using the wrong voltage will fail the ignitor or the board. Reliable glow and consistent lighting reduce no-heat calls, lockouts, and short-cycling caused by a cracked, weak, or open ignitor.
